Dilema

My head's been bombarded with so many stuff recently, so many decisions to make, and everyone's pushing me. So much so that i feel confused and even scared when i think about them.

Am trying to calm myself down and not to think too much. Sometimes i really feel so useless, and so unhappy..

When will the time come when i can feel satisfied with my life and truely laugh from the bottom of my heart..?

Zoooooooooooo

Spent a tiring but fun day at the Singapore Zoological Gardens today with Si and Shirley dears, Yanqin, and my sweet cousin Xinni.

Everything was great, except for the freaking hot and humid weather. I got sweaty and sticky all over before i even started exploring the zoo. Urghz!

I actually brought along my digital camera, but discovered, to my disgust, that my hp's camera actually zooms and takes clearer pictures than my lousy camera! -_-" So all my pictures are taken using my hp instead.

Yanqin's favourite animal - monkeys! Btw, notice the weird sitting position of the last one..?

Roos roos roos.. i remember when i was in Australia, they were all over the place, and we can touch them however much we want, provided we have food for them in our hands. :x

My opinion of camels - they drool alot, spit alot, have ugly teeth and weird faces(like the one above), but they're useful creatures with great humps of endurance.

One of the cutest and most popular animals in the zoo..

I love horses, with their speed and grace.. although there were some uncensored scenes today. I find it kinda fascinating and hilarious at the same time though. :x

Cry_Wolf

Hmm one more movie done and over with.. and i sound like i'm doing household chores. And this time, the venue is at PS yet again (i realise i've been going there for the past few days already) with Denise and YS yesterday.

Not much to say about this movie, it's basically a thriller whereby a group of students decided to make up a story about a psycho going around killing students from their campus, and mass-emailed the story to the whole school. The story became very real to Owen (the main character) when his friends got murdered one after another.

The ending seemed kinda lame as the whole setup was in fact Owen's friends playing a practical joke on him, which caused him to shoot his teacher. But all these became part of a scheme thought up by Dodger (one of the supposedly 'victims' killed by the psycho), who wanted the teacher dead as revenge.

Eh.. i'm getting kinda confused as i write this. Anyway, not very high on the thrill facter. At the end it seems more like a detective unravelling a mystery.

Straight? Or not?

In my opinion, every human is bisexual. The difference is to which side they're leaning towards, and to what extent. As for me, i will not deny that there's a possibility that i might fall for a female. After all, who understands a woman better than another woman?

I met up with P yesterday, after we managed to arrange a day when we're both available. The last time i saw her was at Zouk, which was like a couple of months ago. And it brought back lots of memories.

And i finally come to this conclusion, if i ever fall for a female in my life, i guess she would be the first, and most probably the only one. The main reason being, i feel comfortable with her, even though she looks nothing like a female. More importantly, she's gentle and nice and considerate. Towards me anyway.

I'm beginning to think i'm dangerous.

..........

Watched Yours, Mine & Ours with Wei Tat at PS today. The movie's about a couple who resumed their relationship from where they left off during their high school days. The catch is, there's 18 kids. In total. 10 who came with the mum, and 8 with the dad, from their previous marriages. And when the two sides don't get along, world war III results. To resolve this problem, the kids decided to make peace and coorperate to think of ways to break up their parents, only to discover during the process, and in the end, that they actually can make a happy family together.

Like many other movies, it's drama with abit of comedy combined. It was funny seeing the kids' antics, there was a sad part when daddy decided to leave mummy. And of course, i cried. See? I cry easily in cinemas. Bleah.

A really nice movie to watch, so to those who've yet to watch it, just go for it!

My movie list.....

Brokeback Mountain

Went to watch this movie, which i had been looking forward to since it was released, with Felicia today. What to say, it was really not what i expected.

Frankly speaking, i'm a person who can't resist touching scenes and although i normally don't like to show my weaker side to others, i do cry easily when i come across such scenarios. (Note: this only applies to movies and tv shows, otherwise, i hate to cry in public.)

However, this movie failed to reach my heartstrings and it certainly didn't feel as touching as it's supposed to be, much to my disappointment. The most i felt was a tinge of sadness when Jack died. I wonder if it was due to the story or were the actors not able to bring out the characters' feelings and thinkings to the optimum. [On a sidenote, are the actors gay in reality? Or not? That might explain some things.]

Come to think of it, maybe it's the soundtrack, or the lack thereof. In my opinion, music stirs the heart, and the movie is really too quiet at times.

Another thing to mention is that if it was not for the subtitles, i would not able to fully make out what the acters were saying, due to their strong accents/slangs, and there's no problem with my hearing by the way. And Ennis' voice just rubbed me in the wrong way, seemed not to fit in with his image.

And what's with Jack's moustache?!? It just kills his good looks! Not every middle-aged guy has to have a moustache. Then why don't they put a moustache on Ennis?? -_-"

No matter what, moustache just turns me way off.

In short, the movie was a little too boring and draggy to me. Kinda disappointing.

Actually the funny thing is, i didn't realise this movie is R21 until after the movie when Fel mentioned that she's only 19. ......... OMG i'm so sorry Felicia's mum! I didn't mean to teach your daughter bad things!!! :x Actually i totally forgot Fel's not yet 21 either.. sorry Fel. *bows head in shame* >_<;;;

Anyway, one movie down and.. still many more to go.. (with GV's release dates)
Nanny Mcphee - released
Cry_Wolf - released
Yours, Mine & Ours - released
Failure To Launch - 23 March
Ultraviolet - 30 March

Am i stressed?

Seriously what am i supposed to do.. when i'm torn between enjoying myself and not letting my family worry about me. It's at times like these that i truely experience the worse aspect that i inherited from my mum.

Her pointless anxiety at hypothetical events that may or may not happen, her ability to worry over the slightest things that come to her mind, being so easily emotionally affected.

Somehow what is it that i'm feeling now? PMS? Surely not. Or perhaps i've been spending too much time alone at home?

To her i may seem like a stiff manequin, cold and unfeeling, with lack of compassion. But it's just thin ice over turbulent currents underneath.

I... am just someone who can't always express my emotions right on the surface, unless in extreme situations. I guess this is just remnants of my old character that i can't shake off.

She, or they, will never understand me.

Crazy blogger..

I was trying to find out what went wrong with my blog coz i wasn't able to view it yesterday. Hence, in my state of confusion, i went and did something stupid like accidentally deleted my whole blog template.

In the end, blogger went down for maintenance last night and now everything's back to normal, except my blog template's gone. Bleah.

Anyway, i re-did my blog this morning, which didn't take me a whole lot of time since i used someone else's blogskin - too lazy to make my own.

I was originally planning to go swimming with my cousin today, but we have to cancel it again. This is the troublesome thing about girls.. you get what i mean. ~_~" We're sticking to our plan to go shopping anyway, so yeah it's money spending time! xP

Here comes movie freak..

Met up with Wei Tat today for lunch at Sakae Sushi.. i wonder if it's the rice or what, i still feel full even now. Anyway, thanks for lunch today hor Wei Tat.. and also the movie as well.. i do know my Ps and Qs. :p

Talking about the movie, we ended up at cineleisure after lunch and decided to watch Transamerica, for the lack of a better choice. Actually i wanted to watch Brokeback Mountain.. but the better seats were all taken up. I think i was in the mood to watch weird movies today LOL.

Transamerica is R21, which isn't the 1st RA show i've watched so far. But the difference is this one shows more nudity in guys(gays?), rather than women. So let's just say i've seen enough dicks and bubble butts in one day. :x

Just to summarise, the movie's about a transsexual called Stanley/Sabrina who's in the process of making himself into herself. In short, he/she's just short of a single last operation to remove something extra which he/she doesn't want on his body. However, a son whom he/she doesn't know exists suddenly comes into his/her life and from here starts a strange journey of their funny and strange relationship.

I really don't know what to comment about the movie. It's really a little funny, a little gross, and a little touching, all at the same time haha. I have nothing against gays by the way, but accepting them and seeing them in action are two totally different things. u_u;

Nonetheless, i'm still interested in watching Brokeback Mountain. Anyone up for something strange lately too? :x

Here's an updated list of movies i'm interested in going for:
Brokeback Mountain - released
Nanny Mcphee - released
Cry_Wolf - released
Yours, Mine & Ours - released
Failure To Launch - 23 March
Ultraviolet - 30 March
Typhoon - 30 March
Eight Down - 13 April
X-Men 3 - ?
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - ?

*shock* is my list getting longer or what.. *starts to look for movie kakis*

Computer gone haywire?

I'm talking about the school superstar.

The results are all totally out of my expectations. The only thing i'm happy about is that Geraldine wasn't out (although i expected her to be with her not-so-good performance), the rest of the results are way too disappointing man!!! Arghz.

Yu Yang is too cute to be out! >_<"

And not to mention 'cutie pie' as well! Grr.. &%$#&#^%

Movies!

Just wanna talk a little about the couple of movies that i recently watched.

Before that, let me digress abit. I went to open some UOB accounts with my mum on tuesday(07/03/2006), reason being i think UOB's debit looks cooler than POSB's. :x Actually, the main issue is, i like their points reward system, which POSB is currently lacking.

Anyway, we decided to catch the movie Wolf Creek after that at Yishun GV. Rather than saying the movie was scary, i think a better description would be disturbing. The scenes themselves weren't too gross or disgusting, and there wasn't alot of psycho-jumping-out-of-nowhere-to-scare-you parts. I think what freaks me out is the fact that this movie is based on a true experience and that the psycho in question may still be alive and roaming freely in who-knows-where. It just makes my hair stand just thinking about it.

Enough of making my hair stand, i have more than enough bad-hair-days already. Met up with Si and Shirley dears to day for Big Momma's House 2, which let me come to this conclusion: most comedies are actually pretty disgusting in a way. Disgusting in a i-wanna-puke-and-laugh-at-the-same-time way. LOL. I was pretty much laughing (quite loudly in fact as pointed out by Si after the movie) for most parts. But the kids sitting behind us were pretty annoying - they were laughing even louder than me and making dumb comments. In my opinion. :x

And on to another zi lian session after i reached home..

New look yet again..

Got really tired of seeing the old blog. This one's really kinda pink but i still think it's nice. So please just bear with the pinkiness for awhile. xP

Went to Jurong Bird Park yesterday with my uncle and his girlfriend. Really haven't been there for like sooooo many years. It was fun seeing all the different kinds of birds (no one really thought of the bird flu there for a second) and the bird shows as well. Although i would still prefer the zoo.

I had intended to put some pics that we took ytd up, but i'm really kinda lazy now. So time for some slacking before i go swimming later with my cousin..
