Doggies~

Caught Eight Below with Denise today. The dogs are so KAWAII~~~!! A really nice and touching movie. It's a must watch.. especially if you're a dog lover!! *kyaaa*

We went shopping before the movie, intending to buy some nice t-shirts and hp accessories. Denise ended buying 2 tops and me, one. And all of them not t-shirts. =.=

By the way, Shirley dearie.. we also bought similar hp lanyards to yours! But the difference is, yours is black and mouldy whilst ours are brand new~ LOL. :x *hides*

Correction

I just found out that Derrick's(from my previous entry) name is actually spelled as Derek. Too many ways to spell.. paiseh ar. :x Anyway, I edited my last entry already as well.

Watched the movie 16 Blocks today. A description of the movie can be found here. It's really nice, with abit of violence and lots of action, but kinda touching in the end.

Movies that I find interesting:
Eight Below - Released
The Sentinel - Released
Aquamarine - 27 April
Mission: Impossible III - 3 May
Poseidon - 11 May
X-Men: The Last Stand - 25 May

Crazy parties!

I'm kinda forcing myself to write this entry, coz I'm having abit of headache due to lack of sleep for the past 2 nights.

Friday, 21st April.

I was supposed to check in for my kampong hut chalet at Sentosa after I'd gotten the Sentosa membership card from mummy, but got tempted by Weizhong and Genxiong for a pool/billiard session in the afternoon. So being the pool and billiard lover that I am, I decided to go for it. And as usual, had lots of fun laughing my ass off at our jokes and antics.

Met up with Shirley darling at Boon Keng MRT at around 8pm+ and headed off for Sentosa after I filled my very empty stomach with ban mian(hand-made noodles). And after depositing our luggage, we took a cab to MOS for our first party! I guess we treated the place like a hotel or smth..

[The kampong hut chalet that we booked is just like a small room meant for 3 persons. The room only consists of a double-decker with a pull-out bed below, as well as a mirror. You can get a rough idea of its amenities and how it looks like here.]

Some pictures we took in MOS toilet..

We really love taking pictures in the toilets.. we actually took even more but I don't think I need to put all of them up lol.

Image hosting by Photobucket
We were joined later by Thomas, Jeffrey and Feng(from left). Thomas looks gayish even in this pic.. :x

Image hosting by Photobucket
Me and the guys!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Thomas and me. I'm not gonna say anything about the photographer's skills. :x

Image hosting by Photobucket
Jeffrey and me. He was complaining that his face looks big here lol.

Actually I guess I have to thank the guys for the fun night. It was their gimmicks that made Shirley and me laughed like crazy women. Things like them kissing each other(eww..), playing with water, farting in the middle of the road, licking each others' food.. silly things but real funny lolz!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Thomas, Shirley and me in Feng's car! We were on our way to supper~ xD

Image hosting by Photobucket
We ended up at Mr Bean's and.. this was what happened to Thomas' food. Tsk tsk.. *shakes head*

Saturday, 22nd April.

By the time me and Shirley fetched Denise sweetie from her block's void deck and returned to our chalet, it was already 6am+, and we got to sleep only at 8am.

We were actually intending to go suntanning (or rather, they suntan while I sit in the shade enjoying the sea breeze) but when we woke up, we realised that it was already 2pm+. -.-; So we lazed around and chatted abit in bed before preparing ourselves to go out for pool and dinner with Shirley's bf, Ryan, and his best friend Derek. (Have I mentioned that the chalet was like a hotel to us?)

Earlier on, we had decided after much discussion (why do people always have so much difficulty in deciding where to have meals..) to eat at the Fish & Co at the Glass House.

I thought it was just a normal dinner but little did I know that they had a surprise for me.. (Actually Shirley hinted to me not to eat too much of the seafood platter but I was too slow to get it. I had totally no idea man..) so I was really surprised when one of the female staff brought me a chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.. my face must have had a very classic confused look LOL. Derek even cut me a piece of his fish fillet when Shirley said that that's my favourite.. sweet right?? :x But there was more to come..

Image hosting by Photobucket
The staff told me that it is their tradition to have the birthday gal/boy stand on the chair while the rest sing me a birthday song. -.-;

Image hosting by Photobucket
Omg.. she actually asked me to hold that.. stick.. whatever it is called.. as they sang....... I looked so silly.. >_<"

Image hosting by Photobucket
Finally a proper pose.. but I still look silly......

Image hosting by Photobucket
......I think I got into temporary insanity due to over-embarrassment at standing on a chair in front of all the diners and swinging the... stick like a conducter.

Image hosting by Photobucket
-.-" And I transformed into Sadako after being too traumatised.... ok kidding.. I was asked to blow out the candle without bending down. Stunt right? =.=;;;

Image hosting by Photobucket
Me and my 2 wives! xD

Image hosting by Photobucket
LOL I look like a rich old foger smoking a cigar.. Ryan envy not!? :x

Image hosting by Photobucket
Wah double action! I'm in bliss~ *nose bleeds* (Hope I don't get pimples later.. wahaha! :x)

Image hosting by Photobucket
From left: Me, Denise, Shirley, Ryan, Derek. A group picture outside Fish & Co. Derek had to go excuse a group of people sitting there so that we can pose there.. we even asked one of them to help us with the photo taking. Power sia. No wonder the skills.. *cough*

Image hosting by Photobucket
From left again: Me, Ryan, Derek, Denise. A candid shot by Shirley. I didn't realise I made that face though haha. But it's kinda nice for a candid shot.. :D

After the very happening dinner (with loads of teasing, suanning and rose pricks in between), Shirley, Denise and I went off to Double 'O' for our second party!

Me and Denise dear!

Shirley dear and me!

The 3 of us~! I hope we will always be together.. :)

[I really wanna say thanks to the 4 of them for celebrating my birthday with me, even though it's a post celebration. Although it was embarrassing, I was really very happy as well. It makes me glad to have you as my friends, and I truely hope that even when we're old and wrinkle and grey, we will still be going out and enjoying ourselves together!]

Sunday, 23rd April. (Today)

We reached the chalet earlier this morning, around 4am+, since we had to check out at 10:30am. As usual, we had our chit-chat session before going to bed at 6am. I simply love talking to them about everything under the sky.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Somehow our room looked like a rubbish dump.. including the extra pair of feet.

Now.. here's a once in a blue moon chance to see us without our make-up and with our glasses on.. please treasure it. Those who knew me more than a couple of years would have seen me with glasses.. those were the times when I had not gotten my contacts yet. But now it's rare to see me with glasses. ;P

Me and my 2 wives yet again.. aren't we loving? :x

Image hosting by Photobucket
This was taken in the Harbourfront MRT while waiting for the train to arrive.

And that marks the end of our very very happy weekend! We're thinking that the next time we get a chalet at Sentosa, we'll really spend our time exploring and visiting the island's attractions..

As I promised, a couple more photos taken at my last make-up class (i just pick the 2 nicest ones :x) ..

My teacher, May, is the one in brown dress..

Somehow I think I look abit older here.. probably due to the make up.

I probably won't put as much make-up noramally as I did during class. I prefer the natural look heh. But it's still a nice learning experience.

May will be going to Australia to further her expertise in this field, so I'm wishing her good luck and a safe and enriching trip!

My cake after abit of 'make-over'.. looks slightly more presentable.. [Note: This was taken with my hp camera.]

Now these were taken with my lousy digital camera.. and proves once more that it's lousy. I've decided to ditch it once and for all.

Anyway.. tried the black forest cake. Passable.. but still far from those that we buy out there. Abit disappointed.. but I will improve my skills! ~>_<~

ZHU wo sheng ri juai le~

First and foremost, a great thanks to Felicia, Yong Sheng, and Wei Tat for celebrating my birthday with me today! I really had a great time laughing (and puking) at their jokes and antics today. xD

We met up at 3pm and had our lunch (tea? dinner?) at Manhattan Fish Market, a seafood restaurant in Plaza Singapura. Yong Sheng's treat of course, he loves treating people (gals to be more specific) to a nice meal. :x

There was also lots of entertainment during the meal, provided by...... *drum rolls* TADA!! The GAY Couple, Mr YS("wife") and Mr Egg Tat(husband)!!! [To protect their identities, I am using their initials and nicknames from now on. :)]

I shall spare everyone the mushy/disgusting details, which are mostly about their lovey-dovey life during NS, as poor me and Felicia had already suffered through that throughout our whole meal. We were trying hard not to waste it and I don't want others to waste theirs as well. :)

Image hosting by Photobucket
A present from Egg Tat.. an anklet! xD I will try not to break it with my elephant leg. LOL.

Image hosting by Photobucket
I had my handphone wrapped while we were having lunch.. a present from Felicia.. sweet right? I love Kenshin~~ *drools*

To Felicia, Egg Tat, and my sweet dearies Si and Shirley: thanks lots lots lots for your presents! *MUACKZ* <-[this only applies to the gals.] I will cherish and take good care of them! xP

To YS: thanks for the meal today.. and for any other days for that matter. You are most yandao! On those days at least. :x

To everyone else who remembers me on this special day: thanks for all your birthday wishes and greetings! I AM grateful and will reeeaaally try to know/remember all your birthdays as well. (Please forgive me if I don't because my brain is on permanent vacation and I still love ya guys! xP)

And now.. the black forest cake which I baked a few days ago..
Image hosting by Photobucket
I know it looks weird but like I said, it's the taste that counts right? I'm gonna cut the cake when my dad's home later on, so hopefully we're not gonna end up fighting for toilets tonight. *prays* :x

Here are some pictures from Criss's birthday celebration the previous Sunday, taken at Marina Seoul Garden restaurant..

His very cute and kiddo birthday cake! LOL~

My share of the cake. It may look normal here, but trust me, it's reeaally a BIG slice. The biggest I ever had. Imagine 8 people sharing a 2kg cake.. =.=;

And last but not least, a happy birthday to everyone out there having their birthdays this month as well! April rocks! xD

Black Forest

*drools*

Spent another day baking cakes again.. with help and guidance from my mum.. and this time it's a black forest cake and a walnut cake! My very own home-made birthday cake! Yummy..

I will put up pictures of the cakes here another day since I need to get some decorations to 'doll' up my cake before it can look presentable. But hey, it's the taste that counts right? And mind you, spreading the whipped cream on the outer part of the cake is the hardest.

I actually started in the afternoon, around 4pm+. By the time I was done with both cakes, it was already like 11pm. =.=;

While I was spreading the whipped cream on my black forest, I said to my mum,

"If I own a cake shop, by the time I finish with one cake, I would be ready to close my shop as well." (It was around 10pm+ already.)

At that, she started laughing like a mad woman.

"And everyday I would just sell one single cake. And my shop would probably be called 'One Cake Shop'."

By this time, she was laughing very hysterically, and I reached out my hand to the phone to dial 911.. but I stopped just in time because I realised that my hands were covered in whipped cream and black cherry sauce, and I don't think I will like black forest cordless phone.

Luckily it was just temporary insanity for my mum and she managed to calm herself down after like 5 minutes.

Anyway, I really wanted to cut the cake and have a taste of it immediately but my mum insisted that I wait a few more days for my birthday.. so that's it.

But the walnut cake's nice.. *yum*

Water please..

I think I had spoken a whole week's worth of conversation in just one day. I guess I needed to find some outlet to voice my aggravations every once in a while. Anyway, thanks for lending me your ear Egg Tat. You should be honored. I'm less boring today ain't I? :)

Did I ever mention that I love dancing? Yea I do, regardless of what type of dance it is. I like watching people dance and I like dancing myself.

We decided to watch 'Take The Lead' today at Bugis Junction. What can I say, it's about something I love, so naturally I will say the movie is truely nice. You can really feel the passion of the dancers in the movie.

Among all the ballroom waltz, I suppose I like Salsa the most. If not for the lack of an appropriate partner, I would love to learn it. The moves are beautiful, graceful and sleek, yet full of energy.

"I can't dance."
"You like dancing?"
"..Yea."
"Then you can dance."

I fully agree. And I think this applies not only to dancing.

Another movie day!

Today's movie is Inside Man, a movie about a bank robbery by a robber, Dalton Russell (Clive Owen), who wasn't seemed to be after the bank's money.

Nothing much else to say about the movie as it's basically all about the whole process of the robbery itself, which was carefully and intelligently planned by Dalton, who evaded arrest through an even more intelligent way. Very much to my delight because I've somehow developed a dislike for the NYPD hostage negotiator detective Keith Frazier (Denzel Washington), due to some unknown reason. Probably because I think he's stupid.

But since I like Dalton escaping, I like the ending, so I think it's a nice movie to catch. :x

Wei Tat chose to watch the movie at The Cathay, the new cineplex opened between PS and Paradiz. Besides the slight smell of paint, the place is as comfy and nice as the one at cineleisure. I really can't wait for the whole shopping mall to start operation!

We went back to PS after that and had a nice chat at Starbucks with my ex-colleagues from Pet Lovers, P and K. I miss them sooooo much! They're such nice and friendly people and treated me so well while I was still working together with them. And even Pineapple Tat agreed with me that they are. xD

After they left, Porcupine Tat and I went to Ajisen Ramen for dinner. We were actually so engrossed (me engrossed in kpoing and him in story-telling) that we actually forgot to pay on our way out! -.-" So paiseh man.. the people there must think that we're trying to get a free meal.. *dies from embarrassment*

There increases another unpleasant black mark in my life history. All your fault Pine Tree! .......... Alright kidding.. it was kinda funny actually. :x

*cough* Anyway, I went for my make-up class next. As usual, it was dragged til 10pm+ and I finally managed to reach home at 11pm.

A couple of pictures of myself after I reached home..
